Lutyens Bench

Our Lutyens Benches were inspired by the original Thakeham seat, designed at the turn of the last century by British architectural icon, Edwin Lutyens, for the garden at Little Thakeham, West Sussex, England. This perennial bench design has never faded and we now consider it a garden classic.

All benches are made of eco-friendly, sustainably harvested Eucalyptus Grandis and finished with Oil finish or a UV-resistant polyurethane-based paint. To ensure the long life of your unpainted furniture, reapply oil as needed to preserve the color and finish of the wood. We also recommend bringing wood furniture indoors or storing it under a waterproof cover during extreme weather months.
