Cast Iron Leaf Trivets

These are traditional-style cast iron trivets with a modern open-leaf design. Use them to give plants a lift for drainage on the deck, to protect floors indoors, or a tabletop for a hot Dutch oven or casserole. As might hot fabric pads, the tall feet hold no risk of heat transferring heat. They can also be used on a wood stove top to diffuse heat beneath kettles or steamers and protect against scratching of enamel finishes. Nubbed texture decreases surface contact and heat transfer.
