This circle of Three Hares, each sharing an ear, is a familiar ancient motif with varied meanings across Eastern and Western cultures. Adorning many medieval-era churches across England, In Devon, they are known as the "Tinner's Rabbits," and the circle was adopted as their trade's emblem. Our version features a design done in embossed Brass, enhanced with an Antique finish.
The threaded base on the underside of the bowl attaches it to the 31” wrought iron Tripod Stake. The three-prong design gives the wide birdbath ample stability for staking directly into garden beds and borders.
