Cast Iron Flower Trivets
These are traditional style cast iron trivets with an open sunburst design. Use them to give plants a lift for drainage on the deck, or to protect floors indoors, or tabletop for a hot dutch oven or casserole. The tall feet hold no risk of heat transferring heat, as might fabric hot pads. They can also be used on a wood stove top to diffuse heat beneath kettles or steamers and protect against scratching of enamel finishes. Nubbed texture decreases surface contact and heat transfer.
