African Daisy Birdbath & Garden Stake
One of our larger birdbath bowls, the sunburst petals of Osteospermum, inspired the African Daisy Birdbath. The solid brass bowl is embossed with the flower pattern, enhanced by the Antique finish. The threaded base on the underside of the bowl attaches it to the 36” wrought iron Garden Stake. The two-prong design gives added stability for staking directly into garden beds and borders.

🐦 Bird Safety & Protective Coating Notice
This birdbath is handcrafted from premium solid brass. To ensure it is completely safe for local wildlife, the interior basin has been pre-treated with a non-toxic, animal-safe clear protective coating. This barrier prevents standing water from interacting with the raw metal, keeping the water perfectly safe for birds to drink and bathe in.
Because outdoor elements, UV rays, and regular cleaning will naturally wear down this protective layer over time, periodic maintenance is required to keep it bird-safe:
Monitor the Basin: Every few months (especially when cleaning), inspect the inside of the bowl. If you notice the water beginning to tarnish or darken the brass underneath, it means the coating is starting to thin or dissolve.
Easy Reapplication: To maintain the protective barrier and keep the basin safe, simply dry the bowl completely and apply a fresh coat of an outdoor-grade, animal-safe clear sealant (such as a food-safe clear silicone spray or a UV-resistant clear polyurethane).
Safe Alternative: If you prefer not to reapply a coating in the future, you can easily place a shallow glass, plastic, or ceramic dish liner inside the brass bowl to hold the water.
